The Latvian Institute video "Sounds Like Latvia" has been chosen as the "Grand Prix" winner in the 40th international festival of films and videos on tourism (TOURFILM) held in Karlovi Vari (Carlsbad), Czech Republic, October 3 and 4, 2007. There were 775 entries in the festival. "Sounds Like Latvia" was made in 2006 by the Latvian Institute with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to present an insight into Latvia, its nature, people, values, tradition and economic development.
