Charles W. Larson, Jr. made a courtesy call to the Embassy of Latvia on January 25. He met with Latvia's Ambassador Andrejs Pildegovics and the staff of the Embassy of Latvia. Ambassador Larson, who has been appointed by President George W. Bush as Ambassador to Latvia, will be assuming his post in Riga in February, replacing current Ambassador Catherine Bailey.
