In keeping up the tradition of maintaining contacts with Latvians in the United States, on November 25 National Basketball Association (NBA) player Andris Biedrins of the Golden State Warriors visited the Embassy of Latvia and met with Ambassador Andrejs Pildegovics. The Ambassador gave Andris Biedrins a tour of the Embassy as well as discussed current events and sports cooperation between Latvia and the United States.
