On Saturday, May 7, 2011 the doors of the Embassy of Latvia will be open from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. As part of the European Union Open House Day, come visit the historic Alice Pike Barney Studio House (built in 1902 as the first building on Sheridan Circle!), listen to Latvian folk music performed by "Sudrabavots" and have a chance to view contemporary art by Ieva Bondare in the Embassy's art space.
