College students from California visit Embassy

On January 15 a group of political science students from California’s Loyola Marymount University visited the Embassy of Latvia. The students were in Washington for a 10-day visit and incorporated a visit to the Embassy in order to learn more about Latvia and its place in the world.

The students were given a tour of the Embassy’s premises. They also viewed a video and a slide show on Latvia provided by the Latvian Institute, and met with Latvia’s Ambassador Andrejs Pildegovics. During their meeting with the Ambassador students had the opportunity to ask questions about Latvia’s history, development and current political events in Latvia.
