The Latvian movie "Little Robbers" (Mazie laupītāji) will be part of the Kids Eurofestival in Washington, DC.
The movie will be shown on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Avalon Theater, 5612 Connecticut Ave., NW, Washington, DC.
The movie will also be shown at the Latvian Center in Rockville on Sunday, November 8 at 1:00 p.m. (for more information regarding this event, please e-mail embassy.usa@mfa.gov.lv
Mr. Martins Slisans, Project Director, will be present at both screenings.
Can you honestly swear that at least once in your life you have not thought that robbing a bank is a good idea? Especially, if youre five years old and that bank has just thrown your parents out of a brand new apartment because your father has lost his job.
The 2009 film is in Latvian with English subtitles, and recommended for ages 8 and above. Admission: free
