On October 16 Ambassador Andrejs Pildegovics addressed a conference on Ukraine organized by the Library of Congress. At the conference entitled: "Ukraine’s Quest for Mature Nation Statehood/Roundtable IX: Ukraine’s Regional Commitments" Ambassador Pildegovics emphasized Latvia’s support for Ukraine’s reform efforts and reaffirmed Latvia’s commitment to supporting Ukraine’s progress toward a closer partnership with the European Union.
