Ambassador lights candle in memory of Holocaust victims

On January 27 - International Holocaust Remembrance Day – Ambassador Andrejs Pildegovics, along with diplomats from 60 countries, participated in the commemoration of the victims of the Holocaust at the US Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC. Ambassador Pildegovics lit a candle in memory of Holocaust victims.

Following the event the Ambassador met with Arthur S. Berger, the Museum’s External Relations Adviser, to discuss international cooperation in the education, commemoration and research of the Holocaust.
